Diana is a self-taught artist based in Mill Hill, North London, whose inspiration is the everchanging colour, light and dramatic scenery, presented by nature as well as nocturnal settings - often in the context of a suburban landscape.
Diana records, in her pieces, what she has seen and experienced, capturing local scenes that invoke in her a sense of awe, either visually and/or emotionally. In her work she reflects on the change of the emotive response of the viewer to the same places depending on the time of day, weather, season, as well as one’s mood, imagination, narrative, and personal experience.
Diana mainly works in oils and paints in a style that references Realism and Romanticism.
Her work has been shown in open international competitions, and in exhibitions in London and across the UK. Most notably, Wales Contemporary in 2022, Art Unlimited Competition 2023, The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2023, and the Royal Society of British Artists annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London in 2024.
