Simon Ronnie
Raised in Castlethorpe, a little village outside of Milton Keynes, Simon has had a talent for drawing since he was very young.
Even at a young age his main artistic influences were the old masters, his favourites being Da Vinci and Juan Sanchez Cotan, who he used to learn about in his spare time.
It was only in 2021 after the birth of his daughter that Simon took up painting, again using the Spanish and Dutch old masters to influence his work.
Proudly self taught, Simon uses strong chiaroscuro and natural colours. His goal as a painter is to capture a sense of realism with a painterly touch.
