Jack Durling
Jack Durling is a sculptural ceramics based in Brighton who draws inspiration from the phenomena of the natural world.
Using hollow forming techniques his work in essence is about stories of both individual and collective pieces. Texture and form play a significant role in Jack’s approach. His love for the alchemy ceramics sees expressive use of layered techniques combined with lustre accents.
Subtly touching on conservation themes, his work is celebratory of both endangered wildlife as well as animals found closer to his home on the borders of the south down national park.
