Painting and art, in many forms, has always been a big part of Elaine’s life and her love of writing and photography led to a successful career in media relations which took her around the world.
In her late 30s, a health emergency caused her to reassess life and, while recuperating, she watched a documentary which inspired her to take a career break to volunteer on a remote desert Island in Fiji for several months.
This life changing experience led to her moving to the colourful island of Hawaii and back to her love of art.
She now lives by the sea in Devon in the UK and is a photographer and abstract artist, using fluid paint and texturing materials to create paintings that reflect her travels and her deep appreciation of the sea and countryside.
