Caroline is a contemporary painter whose expressive abstract paintings are an autobiographical display of her desire to explore paint. Using mixed media – and an assortment of tools, implements and brushes to create her pieces - Caroline’s works use shifting spaces that bounce between freedom and control. She is excited by the painting process and is intrigued by how we perceive and emotional visual sensations.

Based in Derby, Caroline has a Masters of Fine Art from Birmingham School of Art and was a Wild Card entry for Sky’s Artist of the Year Competition 2024, where she appeared in episode 1 where she painted Dunnottar Castle in Scotland.
