A self taught artist, Gordon's style is based on a love of vibrant colour,  strong lines and contrasting elements.  

His main inspiration comes from costal scenes, especially the resorts and harbours around the South West of England, where he lives.

Gordon's love and understanding of colour began in an early part of his career in the printing industry, particularly  on the printing of banknotes.

The main aim of Gordon's work is to convey the happiness he feels while interpreting the scenes he loves so much.
